Privacy Policy

Please read: This document is a plain-language template provided as-is. It describes how Roof-Pro currently works, but it is not legal advice. You should have a lawyer review it before relying on it for App Store / Play Store submission or any production use.
Roof-Pro is a customer-relationship-management (CRM) application for roofing contractors, operated by the owner's roofing business and reachable at roofpro.dev. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account data. When a user account is created, we collect the user's name, email address, and phone number so we can identify you, secure your account, and send service communications.
Customer and job records. Roofing businesses enter their own customer, contact, and job records into Roof-Pro. For that business data, the roofing business is the data controller and Roof-Pro acts as a processor — we store and process those records on the business's behalf and under its instructions.
Photos and documents. Job-site photos, files, and documents uploaded to Roof-Pro are stored in Cloudflare R2 (S3-compatible object storage). We store only the file and its metadata needed to associate it with the correct job.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide the CRM service: authenticating users, storing and organizing your contacts, jobs, estimates, invoices, photos, and documents, sending the communications you trigger, and keeping the service reliable and secure.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted third-party providers to operate the service:
- Stripe processes payments. Card numbers are handled by Stripe — Roof-Pro does not store card numbers on its own systems.
- Resend delivers transactional and automation email.
- Twilio delivers SMS text messages and reminders.
- Sentry collects error and crash diagnostics so we can fix problems.
- PostHog provides product analytics for identified (signed-in) sessions so we can understand and improve how the app is used.
- Cloudflare R2 stores uploaded photos and documents.
We do not sell your data
Roof-Pro does not sell personal data to anyone, and we do not share it except with the service providers listed above as needed to operate the service, or where required by law.
Mobile app permissions
The Roof-Pro mobile app requests access to your device's camera and photo library solely to capture and attach job-site documentation to your jobs. We do not use these permissions for any other purpose.
Data retention and deletion
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To make a request, email ross@connacher.com. For customer and job records owned by a roofing business, deletion requests may be directed to that business as the data controller.
